TYPE OF EVENT(S): Unlawful Trespassing (2 Counts)

LOCATION OF EVENT(S): Premises of Convenience Store on East Montpelier Road / Route 2 in Montpelier

INVESTIGATING OFFICER(S): Detective Corporal Diane Mathews 

ASSISTING AGENCIES: N/A

At the above date and time, the Montpelier Police Department received a report of a person present within a store where they had been previously issued a notice against trespass. They departed the area after MPD officers made contact, then returned to the property a second time.

Our investigation revealed probable cause that a 46-year-old male from Montpelier had committed the crime(s) of unlawful trespass (2 Counts) and was arrested.
