As we anticipate a new influx of staff, we will continue to highlight our new team members and how they serve our community.

Today’s newest Team Tuesday member:

Name: Atlas Rank: Police Canine

Assignment: Search and Rescue, Narcotics Detection, Tracking and Apprehension

Years with MPD: 4 months Years in public safety: 0Educational/Professional/Training background: Adopted in Fall of 2022 via a generous donation by the Stanton Foundation. Atlas, and his handler Officer Mike Goslin, completed the New Hampshire Canine Patrol School certification through the North American Police Working Dog Association.

Favorite hobby: In his free time, and pretty much the rest of the time, Atlas enjoys his ball.

What do you like most about working in Montpelier?   “Woof, bork bork bork, woof.”
