On Sunday, March 30, former Montpelier High School standout Nate Groff’s current college team, the Beloit Buccaneers, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Cornell Rams.

The game took place at The Ballpark at Strong Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Rams this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 12 p.m. at Whiting Field against Lawrence Vikings.
