Capstone’s Advancement and Communications Manager Yvonne Lory accepts a check from NorthCountry Federal Credit Union ‘s Community Relations and Design Specialist Morgan Salter for our Fuel Your Neighbors Campaign. The 7th annual Fuel Your Neighbors campaign, powered by VSECU, ended earlier this month raising $325K for Capstone’s emergency food and heating assistance programs.
We provided a brief tour of our Barre facility ending in the Food Shelf. This crucial resource for Central Vermonters helps to make ends meet with rising costs. Our Food Shelf offers pantry staples, dairy products, eggs, meats, produce, frozen meals prepared by our Community Kitchen Academy students, and other daily essentials.
The Fuel Your Neighbors campaign’s success is due to donors and sponsors such as @NorthCountryFCU who are willing to support struggling Vermonters this winter.
