At the above date and time, Montpelier Police Department officers located an individual known to them to have a warrant for their arrest and they were taken into custody without incident. Due to indicators of drug use and sale, a Vermont State Police narcotics detection K9 was called to the scene and alerted on the contents of a bag in the involved party’s possession. A search warrant was applied for and granted, yielding a significant amount of crack cocaine packaged for sale. It was determined they had court ordered conditions of release prohibiting them from purchasing, possessing, or using regulated drugs.

Our investigation revealed probable cause that the operator, a 28-year-old male from Montpelier, had committed the crime(s) of Violation of Conditions of Release, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell.
