LOCATION OF EVENT(S): Main Street in Montpelier
INVESTIGATING OFFICER(S): Corporal Benjamin Michaud, Officer Hunter Lane
ASSISTING AGENCIES: Vermont Department of Corrections Field Supervisory Unit
At the above date and time, a Montpelier Police Department officer located a person known to them to have a warrant for their arrest. It was confirmed they had an arrest warrant for a previous criminal charge. MPD officers took the 36-year-old male from Barre City into custody. As they were under the supervision of the Vermont Department of Corrections, custody was transferred to the Vermont DOC Field Supervisory Unit.
