Did you know? Your electric vehicle may be more than an environmentally friendly alternative to gas - it may have the capacity to safely power your home. Winter weather, like the dangerous and devastating storms we've already had this season, can result in lengthy power outages. Those power outages can result in lack of heat - and frozen/burst pipes as well as dangerous temps for living, food spoilage, and more. Improper use of a generator (using indoors, too close to a window/letting exhaust seep into the building, etc.) can also lead to deadly carbon monoxide levels. Check out this story of how one family's Ford Lightning powered their house for two days - and still had juice to drive away if needed!
