Last week Brook Street High School students Ana Doyle and Tailynn Holmes worked with Chef Joey Buttendorf to cook for their own families and for Capstone’s food shelf. Tailynn made an apple cranberry crumb pie and Ana made gruyere macaroni and cheese. Brook Street High School students have been training with Chef Joey at the Community Kitchen Academy once a week for the past six weeks.
