Graduates earn 178 degrees from Vermont College of Fine Arts

About 55.1 percent of the 178 degrees and certificates handed out by Vermont College of Fine Arts in 2017-18 were to students in english language and literature/letters programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Montpelier conferred 98 master's degrees in english language and literature/letters programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in creative writing. Data shows the school gave out 98 master's degrees in creative writing, followed by 20 master's degrees in general fine/studio arts and 19 master's degrees in graphic design.

The college enrolled 370 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in 370 programs.
