Graduates earn 196 degrees from Goddard College

About 29.1 percent of the 196 degrees and certificates handed out by Goddard College in 2017-18 were to students in liberal arts and sciences, general studies and humanities programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Plainfield conferred 37 bachelor's degrees and 20 master's degrees in liberal arts and sciences, general studies and humanities programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in creative writing. Data shows the school gave out 43 master's degrees in creative writing, followed by 37 bachelor's degrees in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies and 25 master's degrees in visual and performing arts, other.

The college enrolled 448 students for 2017-18, including 188 in undergraduate programs and 260 in graduate programs.
