Community College of Vermont enrolls 5,378 undergrads

At Community College of Vermont, 56 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 68 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year public institution in Montpelier enrolled 5,378 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 5.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

95 percent of undergraduates are residents of Vermont, and 4 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (80 percent) and two or more races (6 percent).
