84 percent of applicants to Johnson State College were admitted for fall 2018

At Johnson State College, 65 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 56 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Johnson enrolled 2,590 students in fall 2018, including 2,291 in undergraduate and 299 in graduate programs, data shows. 9.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

64 percent of undergraduates are residents of Vermont, and 36 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (81 percent) and Black or African American (4 percent).

The school admitted 84 percent of the 2,265 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 22 percent enrolled.
