On Sunday, March 2, former Montpelier High School standout Nate Groff’s current college team, the Beloit Buccaneers, won 13-0 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Northland Lumberjacks.
The game took place at Rantoul Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Lumberjacks this season.
The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 1 p.m. at Chain of Lakes Field against Webster Gorloks.
