TYPE OF EVENT(S): Driving Under the Influence (Alcohol)

LOCATION OF EVENT(S): Main Street in Montpelier INVESTIGATING OFFICER(S): Corporal Benjamin Michaud, Sergeant Kevin Moulton

ASSISTING AGENCIES: Montpelier Fire Department

At the above date and time, the Montpelier Police Department responded with the Montpelier Fire Department to a report of a two-vehicle crash on Main Street. One of the operators was observed to be impaired by alcohol and was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.

Our investigation revealed probable cause that the operator, a 40-year-old male from Waitsfield, had committed the crime(s) of driving under the influence (alcohol).
