LOCATION OF EVENT(S): Northfield Street / Route 12 @ Dog River Road in Berlin

INVESTIGATING OFFICER(S): Officer Michael Goslin, Corporal Samuel Lambert, Sergeant Christopher Quesnel

ASSISTING AGENCIES: N/A

At the above date and time, a Montpelier Police Department officer conducted a motor vehicle stop. The operator was observed to be impaired by alcohol and was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. Their vehicle was towed from the scene.

Our investigation revealed probable cause that the operator, a 61-year-old male from East Berlin, had committed the crime(s) of driving under the influence (alcohol).
