The average cost of diesel in cities within Washington County was $4.19 per gallon.
Of the 25 gas stations in cities within Washington County, four offer diesel.
The average price of diesel in Vermont was $4.14, compared to $4.18 the week before.
Experts predict gasoline prices could drop below $3 this year before rebounding closer to $4 by year’s end. GasBuddy forecasted a national average of $3.38 per gallon, down from $3.51. An outlook published in late 2023 suggests that gas rates will continue to fall in 2024.
