Big changes afoot at the Montpelier Food Pantry! Our beloved Assistant Pantry Manager Nadya’s last day with us was September 22nd.

They are headed for new adventures in Southern Vermont and we wish them the best. Nadya was one of the first Pantry patrons that jumped in to volunteer in March 2020 when the COVID first hit and our mostly senior cadre of volunteers was sidelined. Originally hired for the summer, Nadya quickly became indispensable and we were lucky enough to have them stay and manage the Pantry for the last two and a half years. Regular volunteer Galit Perchal has trained with Nadya during their last few weeks and will sub for them until a permanent replacement is hired.
