Ashley Bartley, a Republican state representative from Fairfax, Vermont, recently shared updates on her public appearances and legislative priorities through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).

On January 6, 2026, Bartley announced her participation in a radio program: “I’m looking forward to appearing on @vermontpublic’s ‘Vermont Edition’ today from 12:40 – 12:50 PM.”

The following day, she commented on the legislative focus within the Vermont Statehouse. In a post dated January 7, 2026, Bartley stated: “I think it feels like it’s going to take up all the oxygen in the room, but we can’t let it,” said Rep. Ashley Bartley, R-Fairfax. She says lawmakers need to push forward on other issues that contribute to the cost of education, namely building more housing so more young”

On January 8, 2026, Bartley emphasized her interest in housing policy with a succinct post: “Housing!”

Bartley’s comments reflect ongoing debates in Vermont about education funding and housing shortages. As a member of the Vermont House of Representatives representing Fairfax, she has advocated for policies addressing both affordable housing and educational costs. The state has faced challenges related to rising home prices and limited availability for young families and workers.
