At the above date and time, Montpelier Police Department officers located an individual known to them to have a warrant for their arrest and they were taken into custody without incident. Due to indicators of drug use and sale, a Vermont State Police narcotics detection K9 was called to the scene and alerted on the contents of a bag in the involved party’s possession. A search warrant was applied for and granted, yielding a significant amount of crack cocaine packaged for sale.
